With 300 dbi resolution and edge-to-edge printing, the image quality of the Pro-LX is the highest of its kind.  It’s also the fastest.  With 4MB of standard memory, the Pro-LX can print laminated cards at industry-leading speeds, making it ideal for high-volume environments.  it can print and laminate a full color card in less than 40 seconds.  Plus, when batch printing, the Pro-LX prints one card while simultaneously laminating another - allowing it to produce up to 120 single-sided, laminated cards per hour.

SmartShield™ provides added security at an affordable cost.

FARGO’s patented SmartShield card security capability is built into the Pro-LX, and into your cards. SmartShield allows you to print custom transparent images onto cards without the need for custom holographic PolyGuard. The transparent SmartShield image is visible only when viewed at an angle or under an ultra-violet light source.  You get additional, customized security in an affordable, tamper-resistant card.
